The Area
The site is in Brislington, a suburb of Bristol on the South-East edge of the City but just 3 miles from the City Centre and Cabot Circus. The area is on the main thoroughfare between the Cities of Bristol and Bath, being just 10 miles from Bath City Centre. Brislington has its own High Street and local shops as well as some beautiful parks, including Sparke Evans park. The Nightingale Valley and St Anne’s wood are another attractive local amenity. The 45 acre Arnos Vale offers walks, wildlife, historic monuments and classical buildings in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The local primary school is rated as Good by Ofsted, the secondary academies of Oasis and West Town Lane are also rated as Good while St. Mary Redcliffe is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted. There are numerous independent schools in the City including Clifton College and Q.E.H. amongst others.
