The village has many amenities including a primary school, playgroup, public house, village shop, deli, butchers, church and village hall and has a local cricket team. Nearby is a Bowl Barrow, a 1500 B.C. scheduled monument and Knolbury Hill Fort. Chipping Norton is a Cotswold market town, some 18 miles north-west of Oxford. The town has a theatre, pubs, shops and supermarkets as well as a Golf Club. Literary and music festivals are held in the town and Prime Minister David Cameron lives nearby. Local attractions include Blenheim Palace, Rousham House and Garden and the ancient Rollright Stones.
