The plot is to the north-west of Cheltenham town centre in the St. Pauls area of the town. This area has St. Pauls Church at its centre and also the Tudor Gothic style Francis Close Hall, now part of the University of Gloucester. Nearby amenities include a leisure centre with swimming pool, gym and spa, pitch and putt golf course and tennis courts are also in the vicinity. The recent development on Lower High Street is about a quarter of a mile from here with cinema, shops and restaurants. Cheltenham is a Spa town and the most complete Regency town in England.
