The village is in south-west Wiltshire, between Salisbury and Shaftesbury in Dorset, and in the picturesque setting of the Nadder Valley. The village has a 13th century church, village shop and post-office and doctor’s surgery. It is a small but thriving community with many clubs including Amateur Dramatics, an Art Society, youth club, cricket club and sports centre. It is 10 miles equidistant from both Salisbury and Shaftesbury. Village primary schools are nearby and grammar schools are close by in Salisbury as well as Dauntsey’s Independent School on the edge of Salisbury. Tisbury mainline railway station connects to both London and the south-west. There is easy access to both the A303 and the A36.
