The appearance of the dwelling comprises two distinct components that include a two-storey main building, which is modelled on the form of the existing agricultural building, and a mono pitch lean-to off the west elevation. The external walls will be timber clad below a slate roof. Windows and doors will be anthracite coloured powder coated aluminium units. Rainwater goods will be anthracite coloured metal goods.
The site is not in any flood zones and is outside the Green Belt. It is not in a protected landscape (such as an AONB) or Conservation Area and is not subject to any ecological designations. There are no listed buildings or protected trees on or near the site.
